Hearty cabbage and turkey soup

Weight Loss Crock-Pot Cabbage and Ground Turkey Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 head cabbage chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 stalks celery chopped
  • 1 cup carrots chopped
  • 4 cups low sodium chicken broth or veggie broth
  • 1 28 oz can fire roasted diced tomoatoes do not drain
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic or chopped fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brown your ground turkey with the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Chop all of your veggies and put them in the Crock-Pot. Add your cooked ground turkey.
  • Add your broth, minced garlic, and more salt and pepper if you wish.
  • Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 7 or 8 hours.
